Rebecca moved to Houston in 2006 to take on her first paying TV gig with KHOU’s Great Day Houston.  The start-up live talk show had a tiny but mighty staff, and that’s where she teamed up with Kim, Sabrina, and Cristina. Back then, Rebecca was a producer, show runner, booker, reporter, cleaner upper—anything that got the show on the air live at 9 a.m. each day! Today, she’s back doing just that with her incredible team at KSRC Media+.  

Rebecca left KHOU in 2009 when she landed the role as Host and Producer of Mirror/Mirror working with Sabrina once again.  The magazine format show aired locally on ABC13 and more than 70 cities via ABC's Live Well Network.  It was a show that helped women (and men) look and feel their best with content ranging from fashion and fitness to beauty and nutrition, and Sabrina and Rebecca were a team that brought out the best in each other.  It was a dream job for Rebecca, and she learned her true passion was helping others shine.

When Mirror/Mirror ended in 2014, Rebecca moved to the news department at ABC13 as a traffic reporter and anchor. She took a break from TV in May 2018 when her second son was born, but in late 2018, Rebecca returned to ABC13 as the Host and Producer of H-town Spotlight and Live On Location.  Rebecca still hosts and produces these branded segments at ABC13 and absolutely loves it.

Rebecca is married to her husband, Eric, and they have three boys, Gray, Dean, and Tate.  Between momming, wifing, and working at the station, her goal is to help bring the spotlight to every KSRC Media+ client through amazing video production.

Rebecca Spera Valentino has a passion for bringing out the best in others, and she’s excited to do that through KSRC Media+.  Rebecca is an Emmy and Gracie Award-Winning Host/Reporter/Producer best known for her work at KTRK-TV ABC13 Houston.
